The family, the most fundamental institution of society is under attack from all sides. The modern-day mindset of the world not only dislikes traditional family, but is actively, intentionally and successfully destroying traditional family values! Even the word “family” is being redefined to mean things that are neither Biblical nor sensible.
Marriage and family relationships are the central means God has created to achieve His purposes on earth. We learn these lessons of life, not in an Edenic garden, but in a context where we face challenge, opposition, hardship, and temptation.
The Christian Family is a simple, interactive teaching on the basic components of family life in today’s world. During three sessions, we will discuss and answer the following questions:
• How to develop a vision for your family
• What the Bible has to say about family life and its relevance today
• Roles for parents
• Boundaries for children
• Raising teenagers
• Child training vs. discipline
• Keeping your child’s heart
• Controlling anger
• The atmosphere in the home
